We are looking for a Senior Developer to help scale our software, our products, and our team.  You’ll be a key member of the team tasked with contributing to a number of high-value projects and products. Remote or Nashville.

Objectives of this Role

• Architect, design, develop, and assist in the development of web applications to support internal and external clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with a team of developers to design end-to-end, industry-leading systems and solutions
• Rapidly prototype new ideas, concepts, and designs
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
• Research and develop new web and mobile technology applications to improve user interface

• Write, modify, and debug web applications using Node.js, JavaScript, React,HTML and CSS
• Design, code, and manage automated test scripts, continuous builds, and deployment
• Create modern and responsive layouts from designs and messaging provided by the creative team
• Develop new features, enhance existing features, and implement bug fixes in existing code
• Self-document development processes, conduct peer reviews and give actionable feedback

Qualifications

• Must have Deep knowledge and experience using AWS services, specifically serverless(S3, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, EC2, SNS, Lambda, Cloudwatch, SQS, Cloudfront, Caching).

• Good knowledge and experience in Serverless Architecture.

• Must have Deep knowledge and experience designing & building APIs using GraphQL

• Experience with the use of Infrastructure-As-Code scripts to provision and deploy cloud services.

• Must have Deep knowledge and experience with front-end technologies such as React, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, Node, TypeScript, CSS

• Must be highly proficient in using these technologies to create highly-scalable data processing systems.

• Expertise with both relational and non-relational database technologies such as SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS Dynamo DB

• Experience developing cloud services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

• Experience with source control and CI/CD including tools such as Git, CircleCI

• Knowledge of professional engineering practices and best practices for the full life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration deployments (CI/CD), testing, and operations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong data analysis and debugging skills.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple, changing priorities.

• Understanding of what is important when shipping products to customers and has been through the process from start to finish.

• Ability to promote robust and maintainable code with clear documentation, and can deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
