Full Stack JavaScript Developer - Mid-level (2+ years experience)

Aloompa is a leading distribution and engagement platform for sports and live entertainment. We merged with CUE Audio in 2021 and together are now powering some of the most iconic and successful live events around the world, from the largest professional sports teams and leagues, to music festivals, conferences and much more. We are hiring a mid-level Fullstack JavaScript Engineer to help architect cutting-edge products and features for Aloompa and CUE's growing infrastructure.  While frequently post entry level positions, this is a mid-level position and requires at least 2+ years of professional experience to be considered.

Requirements

You Will:

  • Work on a fast-paced roadmap
  • Build features and products from the ground up
  • Work with many bleeding-edge technologies to deliver a great experience for our customers and their users
  • Think strategically in all areas of platform, software infrastructure, and application development


You Bring

  • Experience with JavaScript on the frontend and backend
  • Experience with React
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience Architecting no-SQL databases with DynamoDB or similar technologies
  • Experience with AWS services, such as AppSync, IAM, Cognito, and Lambda
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience with Dynamo a plus
  • Experience with event-driven serverless architecture using streams and events
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Functional programming skills
  • Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
  • Attention to quality through unit tests, automation scripts, and code reviews
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-discipline and the capability to prioritize without direct supervision
  • The heart of a teacher to mentor and grow other programmers
  • A strong curiosity and a love of learning
