Aloompa is the leading provider of turnkey, best-in-class products for music, food, conference and community-focused events in the U.S. and abroad. Aloompa is hiring a Flutter developer to engineer applications that will run across Android, iOS, and the web. We are looking for someone passionate about performance, reliability, and design with the experience and credentials to back up that passion. Someone who can take ownership of applications, solve technical challenges and take pride in their solutions and code.

The ideal candidate will have experience building Flutter applications, Dart knowledge, and a portfolio of applications already published in the app store.

You’ll be a key member of the team tasked with contributing to a number of high-value projects and products.   Remote or Nashville.

Flutter Developer

You Will:

  • Architect, build, and test Flutter apps supporting Aloompa's event clients
  • Improve existing products and suggest best practices
  • Act as expert on the latest Flutter developments and roadmap
  • Update and improve codebase to fix bugs, improve UI, and address customer feedback
  • Think strategically in all areas of platform, software infrastructure, and mobile application development
  • Build and test automation using tools and scripting


  • Have two or more iOS/Android apps developed with Flutter. Either deployed on the AppStore/Google Play or available on Github
  • 5+ years in mobile software development
  • Over one year’s experience developing Flutter applications for mobile
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle
  • Experience with automated testing and building
  • Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control tools
  • Proven experience in writing readable code, creating extensive documentation for existing code, and refactoring previously written code
  • Strong computer science fundamentals gained through Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Engineering or equivalent
  • Two or more years of experience building software with a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Attention to quality through unit tests, automation scripts, and code review
  • The ability to find problem code and refactor it


  • Familiar with the BLoC pattern
  • Kotlin/Swift experience
  • Experience with optimizing applications for Material Design
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with Jira, Trello
